Dr. Dan Higgins

Dan is in his 44nd year in practice as a chiropractor. He graduated from McMaster University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree and then in 1978 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been in full time practice ever since.

Dan has a strong interest in community volunteering. He coached baseball in BOMBA for a number of years. He was also the team chiropractor for the Burlington Braves Provincial Junior football team for 37 years and also for the Burlington Cougars Provincial Junior A hockey team for 15 years. He has been a member of the Burlington Lakeshore Rotary Club since 1980.

Special interests include sports injuries, as well as spinal manipulation. Dan treats patients using therapeutic ultrasound, interferential current, cold laser therapy and exercise therapy specific to their individual needs. He works with patients to restore and normalize their body mechanics in order to reduce pain and increase function so they can get back to their normal daily activities or excel at their chosen sport.

When Dan is not in the office or volunteering in the community, he can be found at the golf course, gym or working in his amazing garden.
