Welcome to Fairview Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic, where we are proud to introduce the GLA:D® program (Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark) designed specifically for individuals experiencing hip or knee osteoarthritis (OA) symptoms.
Osteoarthritis affects a significant portion of the population, with individuals as young as 30 experiencing its impact. At our clinic, we recognize the importance of providing effective solutions for managing OA symptoms and improving quality of life. That's why we are excited to offer the GLA:D® program, developed by researchers in Denmark and tailored to address the unique needs of those with hip and knee OA.
The GLA:D® program combines education and exercise to empower participants to better manage their symptoms and enhance their overall well-being. Based on the latest OA research and informed by feedback from both individuals with OA and healthcare professionals, this evidence-based approach has proven effective in real-world settings.
Led by our fully certified trainers, Dr. Tousignant and Dr. Stewart, the GLA:D® program at Fairview Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic consists of two education sessions and 12 exercise classes. Participants can expect to experience reductions in pain, decreased reliance on pain medication, improved ability to perform daily activities, fewer instances of sick leave, and increased physical activity levels.
If you're ready to take control of your hip or knee OA symptoms and improve your quality of life, we invite you to join us for the GLA:D® program. Contact us today to learn more and schedule your participation. Let's embark on this journey towards a healthier, more active life together.
